Wednesday, Dieuseul Simon Desras, President of the Senate recognized that the Assembly was unable to work on amendments to the electoral law, as proposed in the framework of the El Rancho agreement, remarks that follow pressures and the intransigence of the Senators of the opposition, who demand the dissolution of the transitional College of the Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP) and the establishment of a Provisional Electoral Council, conform to prescribed in Article 289 of the Constitution, a Council composed of representatives of nine sectors of national life, contrary to the requirements of agreement El Rancho.
