Haiti - Education : Electricity for Good Samaritan School, a promise kept by the Prime Minister

The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, offered a solar panels system to the Good Samaritan School (Institution mixte Bon Samaritain), located in the village of Trou Baguette in Montrouis area. This installation follows a promise he had made on the occasion of a visit to this philanthropic institution, which receives more than a hundred children in daycare and fundamental.

"The Good Samaritan School, has never been electrified since its foundation, until the installation of this solar energy source, with a capacity of 2000 watts, enabling the proper functioning of the institution without interruption," recalled Ms. Jonine Paris, Deputy Director of this educational institution, stressing that this donation made by the Prime Minister, will now allow teachers, to also provide audio-visual and computer courses for students of first and second fundamental cycles.
