At the initiative of the National Institute of Vocational Training (INFP), Mrs Joan Dithny Raton, the Departmental Director of Tourism South East met recently members of the Consultation Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Professional (CCFTP) of South East to plan the 1st Training and Employment Fair to be held in the historic center of Jacmel, within the framework of the patron saint of the city, on May 1, which coincides with the feast of Agriculture and Labour.

The Training and Employment Fair, will bring together partners from the private sector (Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Association of South-East of Haiti), the public sector, including the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation and NGOs.

This is an important date for job seekers looking for career guidance. It will create a link between young graduates of vocational and technical schools and investors in the region. This is also the opportunity to popularize vocational and technical training and employment promotion, through an exhibition space of schools, vocational centers and businesses.
