Haiti - NOTICE : Underground power cable burned in Varreux
The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) apologized to its customers in particular and the population in general, for the major outage occurred on Monday evening following torrential rains in which an underground power cable burned (VAR 6-1), leading to an interruption of this circuit and a significant rationing of electricity, especially in the areas of the Airport Road, Industrial Park Sonapi, Simond-Pelé, Rue Jean-Gilles, Rue Barbancourt, Route Batimat, Rue Brénord Prophète, Village Solidarité.
Technical teams of EDH are hard at work to rectify the situation, which should be back to normal, at the latest, Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the afternoon.
