Haiti - Politic : Construction of the Footbridge of Camp-Perrin

On Thursday, Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, also Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, in the presence of deputy Ogline Pierre, of the Constituency Camp-Perrin/Maniche, signed a contract for the construction of a footbridge linking safely, the 3rd section of the town of Camp-Perrin to the rest of the constituency "A great satisfaction for the inhabitants of the town," declared the deputy.

The construction of this footbridge, which is part of the deevelopment policy of proximity of Government Martelly-Lamothe, provides an answer to a crucial issue to which faced a population of more than 15,000 inhabitants, which is cut off from the rest of the world in times of rain. The third Section of the Municipality of Camp Perrin is, in fact, on the other side of the Ravine du Sud and the footbridge was destroyed by water in 2002. Its reconstruction has always been one of the main demands of the citizens of the town. Work will begin next week.

The Member of Parliament of the Constituency Camp-Perrin/Maniche thanked the Head of State on behalf of the people of Camp-Perrin and she also expressed her satisfaction, given the importance of this footbridge for local residents.
