Haiti - Health : CAS offers free services to the most disadvantaged in society

The medical service of the Social Assistance Fund (CAS), established by the institution since 1996, originally designed for the regular beneficiaries of the institution, has for objective to provide health care and medicines, free of charge, to the various disadvantaged strata of the society, which for ack of financial resources, are unable to meet these basic needs.

Medical services of the CAS concern several areas which include: gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery. The elderly, the disabled and children are privileged categories.

The service of the CAS includes :

The clinic, which runs from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

The pharmacy, which runs from Monday to Friday.

The medical staff has 3 doctors (1 pediatrician, 1 gynecologist, 1 specialist in internal medicine), 4 nurses and 2 pharmacists.
