Haiti - Tourism : Serie of inaugurations in Jacmel

Friday, President Michel Martelly, accompanied, among others, by Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, and the Ambassador of Venezuela to Port-au-Prince, Pedro Antonio Canino Gonzalez, proceeded to the inauguration of several works of major touristic and sporting infrastructure in Jacmel financed through the Petrocaribe funds :

The Pétion and Bolivar Squares;

Convention Center (utra-modern and spacious with about a thousand seats);

The Boulevard Seaside (Pétion-Bolivar Boulevard.)

The Amphitheatre Pétion-Bolivar (to Congo beach);

Ten kiosks in the center at the center of craft exhibition;

The Sports Centre Boisboeuf.

All these new achievements added to the rehabilitation of the road network of Jacmel and the construction of several bridges and other works in the Southeast, demonstrates the strong commitment of the Government to provide a pleasant living environment to Haitians indicated he Head of State, who in his remarks of the Head of State, who in his remarks to former Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez Commander, disappeared March 5, 2013 at the age of 58 years.
