Haiti - Economy : Training of 20 new territorial Financial Controllers
Monday Engineer Hertz Obas, the Director General of the Ministry of Interior and Territorial Communities, surrounded by frames of the Directorate of Local Authorities and under direction of the Local Finance, launched in the Annex of Ministry of Interior (Champ de Mars), a training seminar for the benefit of 20 new Territorial Financial Controllers.
This initiative that aims to fill vacancies in 6 departments, covers 5 main themes: Local Finance: Ethics, the Public Finance, Administration, Accounting and Budget.
After this training, these 20 accounting professionals, of the management and administration coming from the departments of North East, North West, South East, Central, West and Grande Anse, will be integrated into public administration and deployed in the Municipalities of the departments concerned.
This 4-weeks training is part of the efforts of the Government Martelly / Lamothe, to provide the public service with executives qualified at the service of development.
Recall that 47 financial controllers have already received training in August 2013. These 20 new executives bring the total number of financial controllers to 67 throughout the national territory.
