The Head of State declared that Haiti wanted to consolidate and strengthen the relations of multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam. He highlighted the presence of Viettel Group in Haiti, while expressing the wish to accommodate more Vietnamese companies wishing to invest in areas where the two countries have strengths.

Ambassador Duong Minh stated that the relations of cooperation in economy, trade and investment had achieved significant results, but without being up to the potential shown by the countries and asked the Haitian government to facilitate the activities of Vietnamese enterprises in areas such as : agriculture, telecommunications, construction...
