Haiti - Diaspora : End of year message of MHAVE

Message of MHAVE :

"The year 2013 has been for the people of Haiti, a year of hard work. Administration Martelly-Lamothe works tirelessly to fulfill its promises made to the population.

The year was marked by the start of construction of certain public buildings and the renovation of several sports centers and some public places.

It was punctuated by political meetings with various sectors of national life in order to build links between local Haitians and those outside. It was also marked by a set of socio-cultural activities with representatives of other Caribbean countries in order to boost the Caribbean market.

The Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) renews to the Haitian community abroad, its commitment to continue the work of reconciliation and service to the Diaspora. We are all aware of the need to better integrate the contribution of the diaspora in the daily life of the country. 'Nou tout fè youn !' This way of saying that the Union is strength, this leitmotiv that must lead us to a prosperous Haiti, must make his way in the heart of all Haitians.

With the arrival of the new year, we will redouble our efforts to better serve the Haitian Diaspora, to better serve Haiti. 'Lakay se lakay, et siw vle Ayiti bel, siw vle Ayiti djanm, se la pou la !'

The Ministry formulates to all our compatriots vows of Peace, Love, Happiness and Prosperity ! May 2014 be the start of a life of abundance and success for all !"
